### How does Macaw store cookie consent?

Every Reject all, Save choices or Accept all decision is recorded on Macaw's servers with the choice for each category and the version of the banner text the visitor saw. Records are kept in a tamper-evident, hash-chained log that you can search and export as CSV. The choice is also saved in the visitor's browser so your site can act on it immediately.

### Can I delete a person's consent records?

Yes. An admin can erase one person's records on request, and records older than your retention period are cleaned up automatically.

### How much does Macaw cost?

Pricing is based on consents managed: $5 for every 10,000 visitors who save a consent choice in a month, billed monthly. Product tours, contextual help, FAQs and achievements are included on every plan.
